REEL Women
So it started with a newsletter.
I wanted to spotlight women in film. Interview a few current filmmakers, post articles of women in film history who have broken down some walls.
Then I got the bright idea to do my radio & TV show spotlighting the women.
Went to a friends cafe to drop something off and noticed he had a projection screen. Asked him if he could show movies on it, if it worked, etc… and he said yes!
So you know ole nikki love has to take this a step further and do it real big!

Having the ladies come out to mingle, drink some cocktails, watch a short film produced, written, or directed by a woman.
Providing a platform for women to show their hard work, and for others to learn and get inspired by their work. This is a tough business, and it takes something extra to be in this for the long haul. To put up with rejection, to try to be patient while you wait for your next film project.
