Catt Tales
So I have come to the realization today that I am going to have to recast my short film “Catt Tales”. It seems that I have been running into quite a few problems with this thing. First with my co-producer who decided to be gone for 3 weeks, and then had the nerve to wonder why I am movin forward without him.
My actresses just aren’t meshing well with each other. The rehearsasal tape I couldn’t even finish watching. Let alone these scheduling difficulties they have beeng giving me.
This is a 7 page short film script. WHY IN THE WORLD is it 2 months later and we have not shot anything???!! One location, 2 actresses. Tell me how crazy that it is. So the last email I sent to my actresses asking what their schedule is for the week, because we need another rehearsal, I haven’t even heard back from them.
So certain things, I just can’t tolerate. I am ready to do these projects, and people need to realize that I will move forward with them or without them. 2008, I’m not playing people. I don’t have time to waste to make somebody participate in a project. You either are, or not, if not, then I will keep it moving and find someone who is willing to put forth the time, energy, and effort.
I swear.
Photoshoot today
Had a GREAT photoshoot today with Charles Thomas. He is an amazing photographer and I’ve worked with him quite a few times. We shot about 4 outfits, but with different variations to each outfit.
I am wore out!
We were by the downtown area by a truck stop that had a lot of graffiti and train tracks, and arches, and just great locations in this hidden spot. Then we drove down the block an found another spot in front of a studio.
I did my own hair, makeup and styling. You should have seen the back of my car! A hot mess.
So I will be posting those pics soon.
And last week I shot with Joey Barrao. He is a fantastic photographer and I had to drive all the way down to Riverside! But he was worth the drive. Watch my video
Between these last 2 shoots, I am certain I have what I need for new comp cards. YAY!
